Well it's Monday. My oh my how fast a weekend goes when you have one day off! Well, I finally finished the Thank You cards for my sister for her baby shower. I made her 50 so hopefully she likes them!!
Not too much happened this weekend. Worked Saturday 8am til 5pm, which is always exciting...lol AFter that went to Wal-Mart and spend over $100.00 on...I don't even know....sure cannot get much anymore for $100.00.
Sunday, not too much happened. The weather was gorgeous and then got rainy and then got sunny and then rainy again. It was just nice weather than crappy weather. Did some laundry and watched some movies, Mr. Woodcock, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, The Black Snack Moan (something that was on one of the movie channels and had Samuel L. Jackson, and the Simpsons movie. I also worked on the rest of my sister's Thank You's while watching movies. Other than that not too much else went on this weekend. Just kind of laid around and relaxed Sunday, which was kind of nice for a change.
Today, I went to my mom and dad's to see my mom since my dad is in Florida for work til at least Thursday. So, I dropped of my sister's thank you's at my parents house and sat and talked to my mom for a couple of hours. Usually we don't get to talk without interruptions, since Aaron, my brother, was who knows where, we just sat and talked. It was really nice!

IT'S FRIDAY!!!
YAY!! It's Friday, but unfortunately I have to work tomorrow 8am til 5pm. It makes it for a long week but it is a nice check.
Other than work nothing much else is going on. Cleaning little by little everday trying to get things the way I want them. Watching some television throughout the week and sleeping. Nothing too exciting here. lol
I also have been working on my sister's baby shower thank you's. That is about the only scrapbooking I have been doing lately.
I am exited about ordering my pictures. I ordered over 600 photos from CVS at 12cents each plus every 50 you bought you got 20 free. So for six dollars I got 70 pictures, so I am super excited about that!! I had pictures of Jaime and Nick's wedding, Jaime's baby shower, and other pictures I have had on my camera made!
So for now I guess that is about it. Nothing too exciting going on around here. Which is kind of depressing, but hey it works.....lol

MY SISTER'S BABY SHOWER
Well, we finally got my sister's baby shower over! I love her and loved doing everything for her for the baby shower, but WOW!!! I was up all night Friday working on things. I went to bed at 6am and was back up at 6:45am to finish things up!
I met my mom and my aunt at the church about 10 or 10:30am and started setting things up. My aunt worked in the kitchen after we got the tables set up the way we wanted. Then we put the covering on the tables and started setting up the party favors, which were little bottles we got from Michael's and Joann's. We filled those with little candies shaped like pacifiers! Then we put a ribbon with a charm that said it's a boy with little fot prints and had my sister, Jaime write 'Thank You Love Nick, Jaime, and Connor' on them and we put that on the ribbon as well! We then had name tags for everyone. We cut out little booties from the New Arrival cricut cartridge and put ribbon through the top holes of them! We had little glitter pieces that had bottles, It's A Boy, pacifiers and everything on the table sprinkled in the middle. We also had centerpieces with 3 balloons and a cute little weight that my aunt made to tie the balloons to.
As for food, we had sooo much food. Mind you we set up for 64 because we 36 definite 'yes' calls and his family, which do not even get me started on, only had a few RSVP's but we were told to expect all of them unless they called with a definite 'no'. Well, we had maybe 30 and that may of been pushed, which I was not happy about at all. We made enough things for at least 70 because it seems like noone RSVP's anymore, which sucks. So anyways...back to the food.....lol....We had pin wheels of different flavors, which are the soft taco shells with cream cheese and meat in them, we had different flavored shells like spinach and tomato and my aunt made three different kinds of cream cheese mixes. One was chives and garlic, another one had salsa and I cannot remember the third one, but they were all yummy! We also had some fruit and veggie trays with dips, chips and some velveeta and chili cheese dip, a crapload of meatballs, eclairs, a secret family recipe to punch. We also had tea, coffee, and hazelnut coffee to drink. Also, we had rice krispie treats, because my sister loves them! That is all I can think of right now....lol
We also had some problems, first of all, we ran out of helium, so my mom went to go get two helium tanks to make sure we would not run out! Then Jaime's friend, who lives down the street from us and is considered another little sister of mine, was running a little late and was suppose to pick up the cake and I was glad she didn't! My mom went to get it and instead of making a 1/2 sheet cake they only made 1/4 sheet cake, even though the paper they had showed that they needed a 1/2 sheet cake, which really surprised us because we have ordered sooo many cakes from them and have never had a problem until now, so I was not all happy with them about that, because my mom had to make another trip back into town to get the cake!
Well, 2pm comes around which is the time that the baby shower is to start and noone is there, so about 2:20 people start coming in little by little. So, while my aunt finished up in the kitchen, we played a couple of games. We played one with 'JAIME NICOLE MARTIN' at the top and we gave them 5 minutes to come up with as many names out of her name as possible. WHich the winner got a gift and of course Jaime got a gift. For gifts we had lotion, these cute laterns that my aunt got from Hobby Lobby, some cute magnets, and some potted plants. Well, after that game, we played Baby Bingo, which we made all on our own. We used the New Arrival and Doodlecharm cartridge to design out squares. We had Baby Shower Bingo across the top and BINGO in the five different pastel colors that everything, like the bottles were in. So for the squares we had the word 'BABY' has the free space and then we had bottles, rattles, booties, ducks, teddy bears, diaper pins, and a couple other things but I cannot think of them right now...lol We also had a door prize which was a cutting board that my grandfather made out of 5 different types of wood, which my cousin's little daughter won!
Jaime got a lot of great things! We had asked everyone to bring books rather than cards, which was a great turn out! She got soooo many books, which she was excited about, because now they have a library for Connor! She got a bunch of cute outfits, some bottles, toys, tons and tons of blankets, both handmade and bought, handmade towels, an Eddie Bauer jumper, changing table, stuffed animals, Connor's bedding for his crib, she got the crib set from his side of the family, diapers, lotions, baby shampoo and body wash, my mom and dad bought her a rocking chair, hangers, baby shoes, and soooooo much more!
Overall, things went okay, I was disappointed in the turnout! He had 9 people from his side including two children, then JAime had three friends from school, Sherry, Casey, and MaryEllen who are pretty much family, and then our side of the family! Everyone was great and seem to have fun with everything! I did have some family members really start to piss me off by the way they were acting, throwing food and talking and shit while Jaime is showing everyone what she got as she opened it and the comments from the family members about what she was getting and reading while I am trying to write everything down that she is getting from who and was really starting to irritate me. I more am less got upset and was just about to lose it and just be like ya know this is her baby shower, shut up and enjoy it. I mean there was one that said she would much rather be at the diaper party, which is the male side of the baby shower, because there would be beer and it would be more fun. That set me off!!! I did keep my cool though, but I was just at awww with that comment. I was hurt and could not believe she said that to my mom and me!! I mean my mom, me and my aunt worked our butts off to make this great for Jaime and then I have family members that do and pull that crap! Trust me I was not happy at all! This was my sister's day and it seemed like they were trying for the attention from everyone, which is just wrong, when it someone's day like that, you just shut up and go with everything no matter what you think or have to say. Am I wrong about that and thinking that?
But anyways...things went well. She is very happy with everything that she got and how the party went overall!!

It's Defintely Been A While!!!
Well, it has been quite some time since I have blogged and since I actually have nothing going on today, thought I might as well!
Things have been crazy!! Working 50-60 hours a week at work, planning my sister's baby shower and working on invitations, favors, decorations, etc...for her shower which is on May 31st! Totally excited. Right now I think we have 10 people coming that we know of that have called, me, my mom, or my sister. I have a feeling my sister's husband side of the family will just show up, which kind of pisses me off! I have made over 65 invitations to send out...crazy!! My mom and I are working on her favors for the party, which are the little baby bottles with candy in them. Then we made a tag for them, put some blue and white ribbon on them and a little 'It's A Boy' charm on them...they are super cute. I hope to get pictures on here of them. I am still working on her wedding pictures....lol
Other than working and planning her baby shower. Not much else is going on. Went shopping yesterday in Jackson, got some cute cute cute stuff for my sister as a baby shower gift for Connor Lee!! I just love that name!! I also picked up some things for me as well...Victoria Secret perfume, since I am totally out of perfume, had to get some. Unfortunately they don't have the kind I like anymore, at least that I know of, they did not have it in the store, I had to get something else, but I like that just as much!
So...today I am catching up on laundry, doing a little bit of cleaning, since I just walk in and throw stuff down somedays, so I need to pick it up so it's a little bit more presentable! I am also going to be doing some scrapbooking today!! YAY!!! We are suppose to have co-ed volleyball, but I guess two of our guys, which we are playing 4 on 4 co-ed volleyball right now, are playing in a tournament and their next game is at 7:15 or 7:30 and our volleyball game is at 7:30, so I am not at all excited about possibly not playing tonight, when we only have 6 games this season because it's 4 on 4.
Two Peas Challenge:
If you could follow someone around for one day (unseen), who would it be and why?
If I could follow someone around for one day and not be seen I would follow around The President of the United States of America because I am curious what in the world he does all day. I am also curious of their meetings inside the White House and how those go about daily. I also want to see what the inside of the entire White House looks like! I am curious just how much sleep the President and his wife actually gets and if the President does more of the decision making the nation or if his wife has quite a bit input and decision making. Mainly, I am curious about everything the President does!

Two Peas Challenge and some rambling
You win a scholarship to go back to school for any four-year degree you want. What will you study?
If I could go back to school for any four-year degree I would go back and study for becoming a doctor or a dentist. I know it would take more than four years, but if my first 4 years are paid for then I would gladly pay for the rest, because I would make up for it after I got my degree....lol.
Honestly, if I only had four years and after four years that was it, I would go back to be a teacher. Which is what I want to do now, but I have not quite finished everything to become a teacher in the state of Michigan. I kind of gave up after I got booted out...lol
Anyways.....the weather has been crazy. It was a nice day temperature wise, but it has been raining on and off....some sprinkling, some thunder and lightening, and just some down pouring! It has been a crazy past couple of weeks. Last week it was in the low 50's, even got down to 28 degrees one night.
Not too much else going on other than working. I am working 6 days this week, I have to work tomorrow 8am til 5pm :( My weekends are very very short, but I make decent money, which I defintely need for student loans!

What A Week!!!!
What a week it has been!!! Especially at work!
Work is just crazy...I work for a pontoon place, they do re-deck's, sell all kinds of goodies for your pontoon and other things not so much for pontoons, like dog vests, dog ladders, and tubes for tubing and so much more! Well anyways....our open house started yesterday, Thursday and runs through Sunday. This is the only Sunday we will work throughout the year, but we are working from Monday through next Saturday. We are working 13 out of 14 days!! It's crazy!! But the open house is going great, we have fre refreshments from hotdogs on the grill to a veggie tray, donuts, and popcorn and pop!! It's a lot of fun. This is my first time every experiencing this, so it could be a real treat tomorrow, Saturday!
Anyways...the weather has been gorgeous here in good ol' Michigan. It was about 80 degrees today, but guess what?!?! Next week we have a day calling for snow showers and a couple of 40 degree highs next week...go figure!! I love Michigan.
As for my sister's baby shower, my mom told my aunt about how I felt and I am going back to what I originally wanted to do, which I am happy about, because she is my sister and it is my nephew. So I am slowly getting things around for that. I have 16 invitations done out of about 60. We are doing both sides of the family, which we will see how that goes, and her friends from school and whoever else she wanted, so we have about 60 people for now. Whether or not all 60 show up, who knows!!
Not much else is going on right now, just work, work, and some stuff for Jaime's baby shower....lol
Have a great rest of the night!

Two Peas In A Bucket Daily Challenge: Whats the last good movie you say? What did ya like about it?
The last good movie I saw was actually last night at my parent's house, me, my Aunt Linda, Aunt Sue, and my mom watched The Gameplan with the Rock. It was soooo cute! I just loved the whole movie...I thought the Rock was funny, the little girl was cute, kind of a brat sometimes throughout the movie, but it was a very cute movie. This is defintely one that I will be buying and watching over and over again. I really liked the ending as well! (Which I won't say anything about in case people have not seen the movie and would like to!) I don't want to spoil it for others!
Not much happening today. We, me, my mom, Aunt Sue, and Aunt Linda, got things around a little better and more organized for the baby shower that I am throwing for my sister. I wanted to do it myself, but with the way work is going and by time I get home at night I am not in the mood to be planning a shower, so I asked the three of them to help pick some things up for me, since the date is getting closer and closer! I had one baby shower invitation done, as an example, and thought it looked good, well now I guess we are doing a safari themed baby shower, since my sister is doing the baby's room in a safari theme. Not too excited about it but whatever. I was not in the mood to argue with anyone yesterday!
So, I guess today after I take a walk and shower I am going to have to design the baby shower invitations all over again, because I do want to scrapbook them rather than buy them or print them off the computer! So that is probably pretty much my day right now!

My Sister's Wedding!!
WOW!! What a great day yesterday! My younger sister got married yesterday at 4:30pm! It was a great day....long....but great!
Our Aunt Sue and Uncle Ken from Grand Rapids came down. Our Aunt Linda from Columbus came up, unfortunately her husband, our Uncle Dave, could not get off work, so he missed the wedding. So they have been up here at the parent's house since Wednesday and Thursday helping get things around for her favors, cooking the food, since they just made the food for the wedding, decorations, etc....
Jaime and Nick's wedding was a very small. Immediate family, grandparent's, aunts and uncles, and for his side his close friends, because he had his mom and dad, brother, who was his best man, both grandma's and two aunts and the rest were close friends. They each had about 10-15 people both sides. Our side had Grandpa and Grandma-Teddy (my mom's parents), Aunt Judy (my mom's sister), Aunt Sue and Uncle Ken (Aunt Sue is our dad's sister) Aunt Linda (Also my dad's sister), Sherry, Russ, and Casey Face, who we consider our other family down the road. Sherry took all the pictures with help from her hubby Russ. Of course our younger brother, Aaron.
I went to work from 7:30am til noon and then went and picked up Jaime at my mom and dad's house and we went over to Hillsdale and got our hair done at Attitude's. 90 dollars to get our hair done plus tips! Crazy! After we went to Attitudes, I went and dropped Jaime off at the parent's house and I went back to work for an hour and a half (I was on OT all day and I need the money!) Then about 3pm I left and went to the church. Jaime and I sat around in the nursery for a little bit while people came in and out to see her realy quick before the wedding.
Sherry took pictures while we got dressed, nothing revealing, well other than Nick, she walked in toe get pictures and he was in his boxers, so he struck a pose and she snapped...lol....she came down and told us about it and we just laughed.
We started getting around, it takes Jaime about 20 minutes to get in her dress, because it had to be laced down the back, but it was a gorgeous dress!
Then after getting around, getting her laced up, I got dressed, mom got dressed, we put flowers on everyone, the grandparents, aunts, parents, etc...well not everyone, but pretty close.
Finally, we got the show on the road....lol
The ceremony was great, it was about 30 minutes maybe a few minutes longer, which I loved and my feet defintely loved!! LOL
After the ceremony we went outside for a little bit for a few pictures since it was such a gorgeous day out! We then proceeded back into the sanctuary for pictures with the families, while others went to the room where the reception was being held. We had soooooo many pictures taken!
I went through them and there is probably over 450 on one disc just from the wedding day, pictures with all the families, reception, etc...Plus, the rehearsal pictures from the night before and pictures from everyone else's cameras. I had a bunch taken with mine, Jaime had a bunch taken with hers, we have some from when we went and got our hair done on the old school camera with film...lol...so I bet we have over 700 pictures, which is great! I went through over 500 pictures last night between Sherry's disc from the day of the wedding, then I went through a bunch more picutres from the rehearsal and then what I had on my camera! I went through pictures for about 2 hours last night after I got home and put them on my computer, because my parent's want the disc's to get pictures made!
Okay, back to the wedding......Well after we got all the pictures done in the sanctuary we went to the place where the reception was, which was just another room in the church right by the kitchen. They had it set up very nice. One of the ladies from the church made the cake for Jaime and Nick free of charge, which was nice (but Jaime and Nick gave her money and a gift card and a great thank you card for making it) The cake was gorgeous. The four of us, Jaime and Nick, me and Adam (Nick's brother and best man) were at a table in the middle of everyone, since it was so small, they had it set up kind of like a "U" shape and had the four of us in the middle, so everyone just stared at us while eating and everything else. It was a little different. But we did have to do speeches. Nick's brother, Adam, wrote his speech on construction paper before the wedding. I wrote mine of the hellium ballon instructions in the kitchen while people were finishing up on their meal....lol...it was pretty last minute for both of us...I got told about it Thursday and totally forgot about it! So, we both just kind of winged it, short and sweet pretty much!
Then they cut the cake, they were nice to one another, they did not shove it in each other's faces, which is what I thought they were going to do, but they were very nice to each other!
After the cake and people started clearing out, we went and finished up a few more pictures with Aunt Lin, Aunt Sue, and Uncle Ken, then we went and changed! YAY!! Jaime had to pee sooo bad, I think I got her unlaced in record time. Well, being pregnant, when you gotta go you gotta go right?! LOL
So, we got out of our dressed and back into our comfy clothes that we came in and picked up downstairs and headed upstairs. Jaime and Nick got around and they were heading to Birch Run and Frankenmouth for their honeymoon right now. They did not want to fly anywhere with Jaime being over 5 months pregnant, plus she is not quite done with school yet. She is a Senior in college. She actually has graduation next Sunday, so it will be a busy couple of weekends for her!
But anyways, they got comfy, said goodbye to everyone else that was there and took off. Nick's friends decorated their car with a bunch of beer cans on the back and writing on the window's and who knows whatelse...lol
So, we stayed after and helped clean up and ran through the church really quick to make sure everything was in place. It took us all about an hour maybe an hour and a half to get everything cleaned up, swept, mopped, dishes washed and all the vehicles packed, which is not too bad I don't think.
So overall, it was a great night and a gorgeous wedding, long day, but it was well worth it!

LOL

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! YAY!!!
Well, today I turned 25 years old...a quarter of a century as my parent's keep saying! LOL Not much going on for my birthday. I had to work, I actually got out at 5pm today!!
I went to my mom and dad's house and spent some time there today after work. Mom and dad are working on the house since we have relatives coming down for my sister's wedding which is this Friday already!! Crazy how fast time flies!!
My mom hurt her back somehow...so she is in quite a bit of pain and has to wear a back brace! Dad is working at my sister's house, he was heading out as I was leaving to put their kitchen cabinets in! And my younger brother Aaron was going with him to help him out a litte bit.
I am hoping to do some scrapbooking and get my sister's baby shower invitations, at least, started and like a demo and then I have to go buy more supplies of the ones I like the best. I am doing all different colors and designs for her baby shower invitations, so I am excited about that!
Hope you all have a great night!

100 Questions I Want Answered Part 2
Well I finally finished my 100 Questions I want answered swap from swapbot.com. It took longer than I thought it would! I read back through my questions and some of them I cannot see ever being answered, which is fine, while others are probably more opinion questions than anything.
Well, the weather is crappy....it is raining...it has been crummy all day...raining, thunder, dark....kind of depressing actually!! But that is Michigan weather for ya!!
Other than that not much else is going on....just working my butt off!!
Have a nice night!

100 Questions I Want Answered
I am part of swap-bot and I am in a swap that has to do with a list of 100. The swap is to do a list of 100 questions that I want answered. They can be any 100 questions. I just put down whatever popped in my head. For tonight, I started at 100 and worked my way back to 50. It is not as easy as it seems, at least I did not think so. That is why I only did 50 for the night and will do 50 hopefully tomorrow night!
The website for the list of 100 is located under my websites! It is a great website and everyone should check it out!
Other than that, I have just been working. I already have 30 hours in this week! It is good money though and I defintely need it!
The weather was nice and now it is just plain crummy. It is not suppose to be above 60 degrees in the next ten days. How crappy :'( Oh well, I do live in Michigan, so I do not expect anything less....lol
Not much else is really going on. Mainly working!!
Have a wonderful rest of the night!!

NCAA Sweet 16 in Detroit
Well, we, me, Cory, Mike, Shanna, and Paul, went to the NCAA Men's Sweet 16 in Detroit yesterday!! The games were a lot of fun!! We watched Davidson vs. Wisconsin and Kansas vs. Villanova!
The first game was Davidson and Wisconsin which was a great game I thought!! I am defintely a fan of Stephen Curry this year!! He is a great basketball player with a baby face! LOL He really does have a baby face, but he is a great basketball player!! Even though it was like a 17 point basketball game it was a great game to watch!
The second game was Kansas and Villanova, which was good for a little bit, then Kansas just took control and it got out of hand! There were so many plays that Kansas did that we all thought would be on ESPN and were!! It seemed like there were a lot of dunks on Kansas' end!!
We had at the Grapevine for lunch/dinner which was in the Greek Casino and then Shanna, Mike, and Paul played poker and gambled for a while. Gambling is defintely something that I cannot get into and defintely does not appeal to me whatsoever!
We got home about 4 this morning and then watched a little bit of ESPN to see what highlights were on about the games! Yup, there were quite a few from the Kansas/Villanova game!!
Tomorrow we are all going back to Detroit to watch the Elite 8 game, Davidson vs. Kansas and I am defintely cheering for Davdison!!!
GO DAVIDSON!!!!!!

What a crappy day weather wise!!
WOW!! What a crappy day weather wise!! It was raining and now it is snowing :( I was sooo hoping that winter was done officially and spring was here!! I am sick of snow and the cold weather!! The ground is covered with a blanket of snow, there is no grass showing whatsoever now :(
Other than the weather it was a pretty decent day!
Not too much going on...going to the sweet 16 in Detroit tomorrow and the Elite 8 on Sunday!!! I am defintely beyond excited about it!!!!
This weekend scrapbooking wise, I am aiming at getting some of my sister's baby shower invitations done so I can see how they are going to look! Pretty much a trial run for her baby shower invitations this weekend with colors, wording, and everything like that!!

It's Been A While.....
It has definitely been a while since I have blogged, so I thought it was about time!
Not too much going on…just working 5 days a week, some weeks I am working Saturdays for a couple of hours, but hey, it’s good money and I definitely need that!!
Women’s recreation volleyball is done!! We took second in state. Unfortunately I was not able to go, I had to work….I was really bummed about that, but I figured, ya know, I need the money, so I might as well work! Even though while I was at work and bored out of my flippin’ mind I wish I was playing. There was supposed to be 9 of us for a recreation state volleyball tournament! In my mind, that is too many. That is a waste of a Saturday and money, because you have to rotate, which means you rotate out and sit out there turns with rally scoring! Anyways, enough about that!
We have a co-ed recreation tournament coming up on the 6th of April, which we are undefeated in league play, so it will be fun to just be able to let everyone swing away and not care about all the complaining from the other teams! Yeah there is a lot of complaining from other teams because of our men players on our team! It is just funny! All we can really do is laugh about it anymore!
I am still trying to kick this lovely sickness out of my system! I have had it for over a month and it is really irritating! Some days I feel great when I wake up and other days I feel like crap! It is still in my chest and just drives me bonkers!
I got my dress for my sister’s wedding altered last night, well I should say I went and got it looked at by the person who is altering it for me! I have to go back 2 days before the wedding to make sure it is all good, so I definitely hope it fits!! LOL
I found out yesterday afternoon that my sister is having a boy!! I am sooo excited…still wished for a girl, but that is okay!! So, now I can start to make her invitations and see how they look and start getting all the decorations and stuff around for her baby shower, which is at the end of May right now! She is actually due August 9th, so I am sooo excited that I am an aunt!!!
Oh lets see….what else has happened??
The weather has been off and on here. We did get like a foot of snow Friday and Saturday and now it is just mud…YUCK!!! I wish this weather would make up its mind on what it wants to do. I do not thin that it is suppose to be above 50 this week.
We are celebrating my grandpa’s 80th birthday on April 6th. This is my mom’s dad! We are throwing him a surprise birthday party, where the food is being catered by the place that we are having it which is in an inn that is about 5 minutes from my grandparents house, so that will be lots of fun!

General Rambling....
Well once again it has been a while since I posted on here!! Things have been crazy busy!! I am planning my sister's baby shower which is in May or June. Yeah I know it's a little early to be planning the shower, but my hours at work are getting up there already! I worked about 54 hours this week! Which only means a nice paycheck!
Anyways....I am getting ideas and getting things in order for her shower. I pretty much know what I want to do, it is just putting everything together how I want it! LOL I am extremely excited to through her this shower and even more excited that I am going to be an aunt!! I AM HOPING IT'S A GIRL!!! :) We are having the shower at the church so that way my mom does not have to stress out about cleaning the house and then having people trample through it with their shoes!!
On top of work and planning this shower, I am suppose to have practice tonight for my women's recreation volleyball team, because we are going to state this weekend! Unfortantely my throat has been killing me since yesterday. Everyone at work has been sick the last two weeks and I was hoping I did not catch it, but right now it's not looking too promising! :(
Scrapbooking wise....I am working on finishing up my dad's Ecuador book then I am going to do some work on my mom and dad's book and my sister's baby shower invitations, since I have a lot of ideas for her invitations (which of course, are going to be handmade!)
Have a wonderful week!!

What are your scrapping plans for today?
Well, I just got back from a volleyball tournament in Sturgis and let me tell you!!! What a joke!!! That is all I am going to say about that....
Anyways...I plan on scrapping the rest of the day once I get done browsing the internet. I really need to work on my parent's anniversary scrapbook!! I have over 50 pages done, but I am not making a dent at all in the pictures...lol
Other than that, not much else going on. Worked all week. Taught myself how to use photoshop for work, since I am taking over for a guy that left and that is what he worked with making ads and things like that. So, that has been my week at work, along with doing everything that this other girl did, because her and her hubby went to Vegas for the week, but she is back to work Tuesday!!
Have a wonderful day!

It's been awhile!
Well, it has been awhile since I have posted on here, so I thought I better get back into the swing of things....lol
Well where to start.......
I'M GONNA BE AN AUNT!!!!! My sister has about 25 weeks left of her pregnancy. Not sure what she is having, she will be finding out here at her next appointment which is in the next couple of weeks. So, I am totally excited about that!!
She is also getting married on April 18th, which there are a lot of details to it, but the short version is, she is having a very very very small wedding this year, with like 10 people, if that, then next year on the same date they will have an actual wedding where they will invite everyone they wanted....that's the really really short version of it...there is a lot more to it, but....
I have been working. I worked almost 50 hours last week! Which just means a nice paycheck! :)
The weather has pretty much been crappy. Snow, wind, very cold! It is not suppose to get any better here in the next week at least. We are suppose to have a winter storm this weekend, either Saturday night or Sunday night.
I have been playing co-ed rec volleyball and women's rec volleyball, which both teams are indefeated and it is just a blast playing with the people I play with! Our women's team is going to state in March in Jackson (MI), which will be a lot of fun and interesting!
Um...what else....
Tanning like crazy!! It feels soo good and defintely lifts the spirits up!
Starting my weight watchers diet Monday! I'm not at all excited with my weight, so I am starting that and working out, so I am excited about that and getting back to the way I use to be before I got that lovely depo-vera shot!! I will never ever do that again!
Well...that is all I can think of right now....not too much going on with working all the time now!
Have a great rest of the night and a great weekend!!!!

Scrapbooking Crop
Well, I had a blast this weekend at the Scrapbooking Fundraiser Crop for a little girl that was struck by a car 3 years ago! They made over 6,000 dollars and that is not including what the vendors are chipping in also! They raised money for our fees which was 35 dollars to attend, they had shirts which were 7 dollars a piece. They also had silent auctions, that included items from lia sophia, bath and body works, and a bunch of other things! They also had a balloon pop, which were 7 dollars a piece, and we won a 25 dollar gift certificate for a hooded sweatshirt with a school logo, my sister won gift certificates to Wendy's and a free game of bowling, and my mom won picture frames and a towel that you can play checkers on!
We scrapped from 10am til 9pm. They had lunch, which included, desserts and sweets, hot dogs, and subs, with all the fixings, and chips. For dinner we had chicken wings, green beans and corn, sweets, breads, and cheese potatoes! It was great! They also provided drinks and snacks throughout the day.
They had a ton of vendors there, Creative Memories, Memories and something, Pampered Chef, a lady that did embossing, there was also a lady that I knew that did back massages for 10 minutes for 5 dollars!! My sister and mom had one and they about fell asleep! Avon was also there, and a couple of other ones that I cannot think of!
They gave away door prizes every hour, from scrapbooking supplies to hand made shelves and lia sophia jewelry and watches with interchangable bands. We did not win any though! There were a couple of numbers called around ours, one below one of our numbers and one that was 3 above ours! LOL They also had many giveaways! Pampered chef, avon and one other one did giveaways and raffles as well!
The scrapbooking vendors had sales at the end and throughout, from 40% off certain objects and at the end, they had 50% off a bunch of things because they did not feel like taking it home and 40% off everything else that is not in the 50% off piles!
It was a blast. I got about 15 pages done or so....maybe more maybe less I am not sure, I have not couted yet.
I bought a bunch of things, stickers, a t-shirt that says "Scrapbookers do it all night long" LOL They had two other ones, one about a husband and another about children and I do not have either, so I went with this one...lol...I also bought a little pink and brown bag that holds pens, scissors and everything like that....so I spent about 30 dollars with that and a t-shirt that says "Katie Weis 3rd Annual Fundraiser!" Plus the 35 dollar fee to attend, so about 65 dollars in all, which is all well worth it for a fundraiser!
Walmart was also going to match what they made while at the crop. They made 1000 dollars between 10am-pm, so they made 2000 dollars in that time with the walmart matching them! So that helps out a bunch!!
I HAD A BLAST!!!!!! I am defintely attending next year!!!

HUGE snowstorm!!
Well, I am just sitting around watching TV and browsing the internet waiting for this HUGE snowstorm we are suppose to get between tonight and tomorrow!! We are suppose to get between 7-14 inches between tonight and tomorrow afternoon/night!
I am usually not a person that likes snow, but I am super excited about all this snow for some reason! Other than that not much going on around here.
Saturday will be exciting! I am going to a scrapbooking fundraiser for a little girl that died 3 years ago.....I am excited that we get to scrapbook, not that the little girl died! The little girl was riding a 4-wheeler and went up into the road and was hit by a car. She was not very old at all, I think she was about 6 or 7, which I think is too young to be riding a 4-wheeler by herself, but that is my opinion. Me, my mom, and my sister are all scrapbooking. It was like 35 dollars a piece and the money goes toward her scholarship that they give one student who is graduating, so it is for a great cause!
We get to scrapbook from 10am til 9pm in the high school gym. She is providing lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks. The mom of the little girl is the one putting this fundraiser on! She is also doing silent auctions, door prizes, prizes from popping a balloon, which everyone gets something from it. She has creative memories consultants coming, along with stampin' up, lia sophia, some other jewelery consultants, and a lady who is doing back massages for a dollar a minute! So there is defintely a lot going on!! I will update more probably on Sunday about everything and how it went!
If you are getting this huge snowstorm, please be careful if you are driving and stay warm!!!

Find a quotation that moves you and write it down. Why does it move you?
Remember nothing is ever as good as it seems,
Nothing is ever as bad as it seems,
But somewhere between the two is where reality lies!
This I have in my signature in all my emails, etc...My high school basketball coach, whom I consider my own family, along with his wife, use to say this to us before every basketball game and sometimes during practice and I played for him for 3 years and I managed for him in middle school! So that is defintely a quote that sticks in my mind all the time!
Enjoy today because you never know what may happen tomorrow!
This one defintely sticks with me and is so true! One should always enjoy the present day, because one may never know what may happen tomorrow to them or someone they know or love!
Well....the weather is still chilly! The wind has not been as bad lately as it has been in the last week or two!
We played co-ed volleyball last night which is always a new adventure for our team. We have fun together, but the other teams are always complaining and whining! We are in C league, and we were in C league last season. Well, we have one guy on our team that can really hit the ball!! Well, he hits hard and the other teams are always saying well you should move up and blah blah blah....Well, last season we were barely over 500. I think we were one game over 500 actually! Which in our rec league, you can pick the league you want to be in unless you win your league then you actually have to move up to the next league. Like we picked to be in C league, because we have not played as a team before the fall league, well 3 of us have, but the other 3 we have never played with. So, we have to deal with people complaining and everything, well in our books, until we win something there is no reason for us to move up a league!
Anyways, sorry about the rambling, but it does get kind of old the more it goes on!
Moving on....well not much going on today! Just doing some scrapbooking until I have my women's volleyball game tonight at the rec center!
